About

Our Roots

For generations, wellness in my family has been guided by Ayurveda — practices passed down through strong women who lived in harmony with nature. My beloved grandmother in rural Nepal lived as a farmer and naturalist, and my mother carried those traditions forward with her hands blending herbs, teas, and oils.

A Return to the Natural Way

I believe true wholeness comes from returning to the ways that sustained my ancestors for thousands of years — living in rhythm with the earth. Long before many disease and ailments we see today existed. That’s why our products are created with ingredients that honor nature itself: honey that sustains the bees, ancient herbs like Bay Leaf and Ashwagandha that balance the body, and timeless spices — cardamom, anise, turmeric, cinnamon — that not only flavored daily meals but fortified immunity and spirit. For generations, these spices infused drinks, teas, elixirs, and skin remedies that nurtured both body and soul. Every product is designed as a ritual — grounding you in resilience and balance.

Exploration

Community is everything. I was raised in a village where everyone belonged to each other, and wellness was shared, not solitary. In today’s modern life of corporate schedules and digital hustle, we still need that same sense of belonging. That’s why Sanuday retreats exist: to reset, reconnect, and remember that you are part of nature. To put your toes in the mud, sip spiced tea at sunrise, breathe the same air as the wild, and step back into yourself.

Philosophy

Guided by ancestral wisdom and enriched through exploration, Sanuday exists to honor our traditions while creating new rituals of wholeness. Every oil, every retreat, every story is an invitation: to reconnect with nature, to live fully well, and to carry forward what has always sustained us.
